- Cherie D. May, LPC-S is a licensed professional counselor with more than 12 years of experience working with clients (ages 4 and up) from diverse backgrounds. Cherie completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 1994. She graduated with a Masters in Counseling from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005. Cherie has been a counseling supervisor since 2015.
Cherie has significant experience working with a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety, bipolar disorder, codependency, depression, divorce recovery, and grief. Cherie is also a Level 2 trained EMDR clinician, specializing in Trauma, PTSD, and Minority Health Issues.
